The AngE Phlebo is as small as a check card and weights appox. 110 gram.

It doesn't need any additional power supply. All it needs is a USB-connection to your pc.

In combination with an optional obtainable computer, you have all you need to provide the best screening for your patient.

IR-Sensors

The AngE Phlebo comes with two IR-sensors, each containing 2 emitters and 1 receiver. The sensors are clearly marked and attached through adhesive rings to the measuring point.
Using two emitters, the AngE Phlebo is able to provide a much better illumination of the skin area, increasing the measurement quality.

Pump Volume and Fill Time

The pump volume indicates how well the patient pumps venous blood, through leg movement, in the direction of the heart. The fill time says something about the tightness of the vein valves.

AngE Phlebo calculates the pump volume (Vo) and the venous fill time (To) automatically. The results are stated in a simple traffic light display for a fast overview.

Tourniquet

The AngE Phlebo provides predefined measurement-programs for Tourniquet-measurements.
This means, the superficial vein system is being compressed with a cuff to get it haemodynamically ineffective. Trough comparing the measurements with and without Tourniquet, it's possible to determine wether the venous valve incompetence is located in the superficial or in the deep venous system.

The measurement's results and the vein curves are displayed clearly for a further comparison and evaluation.

For Phlebologists

The AngE Phlebo also provides a special examination program for phlebologists. By activating this function, the AngE Phlebo starts a continuous measurement with a maximum length of 200 seconds.

This allows the examiner to apply his personal examination methods. The AngE Phlebo records all and provides a comparison and evaluation of the results.

All at a Sight

The AngE software processes each measurement carefully for you.

The single measurement curves are displayed one below the other to provide an easy comparison.
The corresponding values are listed at the right side in a simple traffic light display.

This gives you a number of advantages. It lets you see at one sight, which status the values have and in which relation they stay to each other. For example, this allows you to immediately see wether a venous valve incompetence is located in the superficial or in the deep venous system of a Tourniquet-measurement.

Works with AngE

The AngE Phlebo works with the same software as all other AngE products do. This means, if you already have an AngE, you can simply attach your new Phlebo to your existing AngE database. They use the same patient database, all previous recorded measurements are available. You can easily assign your Phlebo measurements to patients you have already created with an other AngE product.

The devices also work active together. You can, for example, record a Tourniquet-measurement with your AngE Phlebo and simultaneously compress the leg with an AngE 4-channel device. This provides you a standardized applying of the cuff pressure.

In other words: All AngE products work together seamlessly!

Patient Database

The AngE software lets you mount your patient database easily. If you have several AngE products or workingspaces, you can simply use your AngE database in a network. This will let you access your patient's information and measurements from anywhere you want.

Windows Compatible

The AngE software uses an intuitive and clear windows surface, so you can get easily into your workflow. Furthermore, the software runs on all main Windows versions, such as Windows XP, Windows Vista or Windows 7. In other words, you can install the AngE on almost every PC that's out there, without having to buy a new one.
